Projects OnLine^SM, part of the MasterPlant^® project automation suite, is Fluor's robust project collaboration and document management tool. Fluor uses Projects OnLine to engage the entire project team, including home office, site personnel, clients, vendors, fabricators and suppliers, in communication and collaboration regardless of the team members' locations worldwide. Projects OnLine enables access to the latest versions of project documents and offers full integration with Fluor's electronic document management system. As a powerful, combined solution, Projects OnLine enhances collaboration and the timely distribution of information throughout the entire project life cycle.

Access Projects Online

Projects OnLine consists of two functional components; an Internet-based project collaboration system (PCS) integrated with a robust document management system (DMS). Both of these components can be configured to meet project business and execution requirements. Projects OnLine uses intuitive and familiar navigation methods similar to Microsoft^® Internet Explorer. Locating information is enhanced by comprehensive search capabilities, project defined terminology and pick-lists. Security features, such as a unique ID and password, controlled access to specific information categories and encrypted data transmission, provide protection of intellectual assets. Each user may submit, copy, retrieve or view project documents, depending on individual authorization. An integrated viewer and red-line application allows access to and printing of documents without the need for access to the native applications. Project teams can post and retrieve project bulletins and news and also link to other Web pages or applications to enhance communication.
